Designing has always been my passion and so has fitness, the idea of combining the two into my own business was one of the best decisions I ever made! I started Shark's Bites of Life in April of 2013 out of our 2 bedroom apartment. I took over the entire spare bedroom with my inks, screens and screen printing supplies. I had my work desk in the kitchen (instead of a kitchen table). It was a little difficult when we had guests over, I found myself trying to fit my work and family/friends into one room.

When my husband was transferred to a new location we decided to upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment so I could have a separate office from our guest room, best decision ever! As of January 2015 I have been solely running Shark's Bites of Life without another source of income. It was a risk I was willing to take so I could stay on top of my vision for SBOL.

I plan to greatly expand my designs and apparel this upcoming year, now being able to give it all of my attention and time. Seeing people wearing SBOL at the gym, grocery store, and in social media posts makes my day, I instantly get a smile on my face and feel joy. Creating quality products that I love to wear and share with others keeps me motivated. It MAKES MY DAY every time I get a message or feedback from someone telling me how much they love their new tank or new sweatshirt.

My plan is to eventually get to a point where I am able to afford to create the garment patterns and pick the fabrics used for custom Shark's Bites of Life apparel.
